Ottawa, Ontario – Big Rig Brewery have announced the release of a brand new, limited LCBO release.
Found Bikes Ride Faster is a 6% Experimental Pale Ale brewed alongside their good friends at Great Lakes Brewery (GLB). The “experimental” designation references a new, as-yet-unnamed experimental hop that GLB contributed to the brew.
The beer celebrates a trifecta of happenings: Canada’s 150th, GLB’s 30th and the Canadian Brewing Awards.
“It’s always a good day when you get to brew alongside friends,” says Lon Ladell, Big Rig Brewery’s brewmaster. “But to do it when so many amazing things are happening makes it even more special. We love the whole gang at GLB and everything they do, so it’s exciting that we can celebrate with them.”
Found Bikes Ride Faster will officially launch on May 27, between 12-4 p.m., at the Lansdowne Park LCBO on 953 Bank Street. Ladell and Mike Lackey, GLB’s brewmaster, will be on hand. The launch also features a five-tap growler station takeover, highlighted by a second Big Rig x GLB collab and three GLB beers:
Big Rig x GLB Referencing Illegal Activities
Big Rig Canadian Brewing Awards Pale Ale
Great Lakes Found Money
Great Lakes Harry Porter
Great Lakes Ice Hole Pale Ale
Found Bikes Ride Faster will be shipped to select LCBO stores across the province after the May 27 launch.
