Big Rig Brewery releases two fall seasonals

Ottawa, Ontario – Big Rig Brewery have announced a fan favourite, Tales From The Patch will be returning to the LCBO this fall.

This chocolate-hued pumpkin porter was a huge hit last year. It uses pumpkins the brew team picked from Miller’s Farm in Manotick, ON. The pumpkins were spiced, baked and added right into the brew.

“It’s like drinking pumpkin pie with whipped cream,” says Lon Ladell, Big Rig Brewery’s brewmaster, who originally made this beer to woo the lucky woman who eventually became his wife. And, yes, the can does indeed glow in the dark!

The second release is Tartan Pants—Big Rig Brewery’s gold medal-winning Scotch Ale. It has rich flavours that move from caramel to raisin to molasses. Hand-smoked malts give it a touch of peatiness that take it over the top.

Both Tales and Tartan are available in 473mL cans in the LCBO and select grocery stores.
