Brew Tours announce Toronto Series – Junction Jitney

Toronto, Ontario – About a year ago, Brew Tours announced their first brewery tour titled “The Muskoka Edition”.  With the continued success of this tour, as well as the addition of the Barrie Brews & Bites tour, Brew Tours is excited to announce their expansion into the Toronto market.

Over the last year Toronto’s craft community has been growing at a very rapid rate with breweries, tap rooms, and distilleries opening up every other week.  Brew Tours will be launching the first of their Toronto Series: Junction Jitney. Other series are currently being developed for the city, and will be rolled out later this year. Starting May 13th, 2017, the Junction Jitney’s public tours will be operating on weekends, and private or corporate tour packages will also be available upon request.

Similar to their Muskoka Edition, the Toronto Series: Junction Jitney has been designed to highlight four of Toronto’s West End breweries: Halo Brewery, Henderson Brewing Company, Junction Craft Brewing, and Rainhard Brewing Company. The tour will also visit Laylow Beer Bar and Eatery, where the craft enthusiasts will enjoy a full meal and tastings.

“With Patrick and I being from Toronto there has always been a plan to launch in the city, it was a matter of developing the right tours and timing on our part. The Junction Jitney will be one of the flagship tours out of our Toronto Series”; states Piers Simpkin co-founder of Brew Tours.

A great amount of time and detail went in to developing the Junction Jitney so it showcases the best tour experience for the craft community. In addition to the development of these tours, Brew Tours has been building up their name and team.

Brew Tours is excited to also announce that Ralph Barber is joining the team, and has already been a great asset to the company and tours. Ralph is also a Prud’homme Beer Sommelier and having someone leading and managing the Toronto Series with these qualifications will ensure all guests, new or veterans, leave the tours with a better knowledge of the Toronto craft community.   The discovery of great brewing and spreading knowledge continues to be Brew Tours top goal.
