Hamilton, ON – Brux House in Hamilton, Ont. is pleased to announce the Locke Street South restaurant will be participating in Cider Week from May 30-June 6, 2015.
In partnership with the Ontario Craft Cider Association, Brux House will be celebrating local hard cider and the artisans who craft the beverage with:
· A tap list featuring 10 Ontario ciders from area producers
· Cider-inspired menu items that complement the beverage
· Flights for patrons to sample various cider styles
The event offers the opportunity to experience limited-release and specialty ciders, which showcase the best of Ontario fruit from producers such as Revel Cider Company, Spirit Tree Estate Cidery, and Hamilton’s own,West Avenue Cider.
Inspired by the European beer belt, Brux House couples fine fare and top-shelf service with the best of craft beer and ciders, spirited cocktails and exciting wines.
Executive Chef Fraser Macfarlane gives classic cuisine his creative culinary slant using quality, local ingredients. Food is paired with traditional and innovative beer styles from an extensive bottle and tap list of local and imported brews, and Brewer Mark Horsley is on board to create recipes under the Brux House label.
The restaurant’s bar area is home to a changing chalkboard menu listing daily features. An elegant dining room offers an à la carte menu that caters to guests looking for refined, but approachable, dishes.
Brux House offers private rooms to host events, and a patio to enjoy brews and bites outdoors. Its sister location, Quatrefoil Restaurant, is located in nearby Dundas, Ont. and specializes in contemporary fine dining.
