Eastbound Brewing releasing two brand new beers this week

Toronto, Ontario – Eastbound Brewing Co. is releasing two brand new beers this week in 355mL cans and Crowlers, Fresh Start: Idaho 7 APA and Stone Skipper Dry Hopped Saison.

The latest batch from the Fresh Start single hopped APA series will feature the Idaho 7 hop variety. It joins the roster of other Fresh Start variants: Simcoe, Summit, Cashmere, Azacca, Comet, Ekuanot, Amarillo, El Dorado & Nugget. Brewmaster Dave Lee says he selected Idaho 7 for this batch because the hop exhibits so many different characteristics for a single hop. “It has fruit, pine and a great dank hop flavour. It comes off as more of a blend of hops rather than a single.”

Stone Skipper Dry Hopped Saison will also hit the retail shelves at Eastbound this week. It’s like setting up basecamp in a hop yard. With a generous amounts of Mosaic hops to finish off this Belgian style Saison. It will offer a new take on the classic farmhouse style. Lee says, “I wanted to bring a full hop character to this beer while maintaining all the Belgian Saison character that makes our Saison so flavourful. Mosaic hops really compliment the spices and dry character of this Saison while presenting citrus fruit and depth that the hops are known for.”

It will also be available in the brewpub on draft joining other new releases this month. Backpacker Blonde Ale and Patchwork Orange Pumpkin Ale (both available to go in Crowlers).

Other beer to go offerings available in 355mL cans are Wanderer American Wheat, Basecamp Saison and Hidden Lake Hefeweizen.
