Toronto, Ontario – The Toronto Wolfpack is partnering with Northern Maverick Brewing Co. to bring the fans a number of exciting events and collaborations. Northern Maverick will be added to the Beer Garden for a number of games this upcoming season.
Passion for craft beer isn’t the only thing Northern Maverick shares with the Pack, their menu has been developed to showcase the best of Ontario. Along with house-made charcuterie, and a paired chef’s/brewmaster’s tasting menu, Northern Maverick Brewing Co will introduce a number of carefully crafted new menu options such as traditional English pies for Wolfpack fans and those making the journey from the UK to Toronto this season. Northern Maverick will be the official location for the ‘Friday Night Welcome’ giving visiting fans the opportunity to try out the tasty eats and thirst quenching craft brews while mingling with Wolfpack squad members.
“We’re honoured to have a professional sports team, like the Toronto Wolfpack, supporting local craft beer”, says Northern Maverick Founder and Owner Jason Kaptyn. “Too often high calibre teams sell their taps exclusively to larger macro-brew companies. We’re excited to have the opportunity to prove to fans nothing pairs better with live sports than an independent craft beer”.
“The Wolfpack Beer Garden has created an atmosphere for home games unlike any other, and the addition of Northern Maverick Brewing Co. will bring that unique experience to another level. We enjoy working with partners who share our values and those who we can work with to create an interactive and enjoyable experience on and off the pitch” added Audrey Bouman, Toronto Wolfpack Strategic Partnerships Executive.“We know this partnership is one that our fans will enjoy throughout the season, with a number of player appearances and family events to be hosted.”
In addition to their presence in the Beer Garden, they will also be the principal sponsor of off-season recruit Ricky Leutele. In his first season with the Wolfpack, Leutele has already electrified fans with his pace and footwork. This sponsorship will allow Leutele’s presence on and off the field to grow as he becomes a Toronto Wolfpack staple.
On March 17th Northern Maverick will host a Wolfpack Official viewing party at the brewery.
Toronto Wolfpack 2019 Season Members will have additional reason to smile with this partnership as they will be treated to perks when visiting Northern Maverick Brewing Co.
