Gravenhurst, Ontario – November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and Sawdust City Brewing Co. is teaming up once again with Crafting A Cure in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada (JDRF Canada).
For the month of November, $0.25 of every pint sold at Sawdust City Brewing Co. will be donated to Crafting a Cure in support of JDRF Canada, a charitable organization that funds research into juvenile type 1 diabetes. This is an important cause at Sawdust City Brewing as it directly affects one of their own. Brewmaster, Sam Corbeil explains, “As a father of a type 1 diabetic, this cause is extremely personal and important to me. I wanted to give back in any way possible and I wanted to work with a charity that directly supported JDRF Canada. As a brewer and dad I felt it was my duty to be a part of this wonderful charity. If I can use my position to help fight this disease, in any capacity… well then I just had to do it.”
Sawdust City Brewing is honoured to be part of this initiative in helping families cope with a challenging disease and helping researchers find a cure. They appreciate your support.
Sawdust City Brewing Co. has 12 taps with six core beers available year round and six rotating taps that feature seasonal and special beer releases. Come in and have a pint in support of a great cause!
