Toronto, Ontario – This weekend, when runners finish the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon or 5k, there’s more than a medal waiting for them. RunTOBeer and Great Lakes Brewery have teamed up to create RUNTOBEER Pale Ale.
Brewed with the assistance of elite New Balance runners Rachel Hannah and Reid Coolsaet. RUNTOBEER Pale Ale, a 4.5% ABV New England style Pale Ale will be available at CRAFT Beer Market, just 500 metres from the finish line. Show your bib and get a beer, while supplies last.
RUNTOBEER Pale Ale, brewed specifically for the 2019 Toronto Waterfront Marathon, is the thirst quenching, juicy reward awaiting runners at the conclusion of Canada’s premiere racing event.
The unique label, designed by Richard Kuchinsky of The Directive Collective allows runners to record their finishing time, for a truly unique record of their accomplishment.
The first 300 runners to show their race bib at the official post-race party will receive their tallboy of RUNTOBEER Pale Ale free, with kegs of this special release available on tap.
473ml cans of RUNTOBEER Pale Ale will also at Great Lakes Brewery’s tap room (30 Queen Elizabeth Boulevard, in Etobicoke), with 50 cents from each can going to local charity, Good Foot Delivery.
