Ottawa, Ontario – Big Rig Brewery announced a new partnership with SSP Canada and the Ottawa Macdonald – Cartier International Airport. The local Ottawa restaurant and Brewing company has been selected as one of four local businesses to open in the Ottawa Macdonald – Cartier International Airport (YOW).
The new Brewpub style restaurant will be located on level two, post-security and will be available for domestic and international travellers and is scheduled to open later this year.
“We are extremely honoured to have been selected by SSP Canada as one of four local businesses to open at YOW. We can’t wait to be pouring a wide selection of our craft brewed beers and are excited to share our love of beer with those travelling through YOW” said Lon Ladell, Co-owner and Brewmaster at Big Rig Brewery.
The new Brewpub style restaurant location will be serving some menu favourites as well as Big Rig Brewery’s award-winning craft beers. The airport location will be the fourth Big Rig in Ottawa, with the Brewpub opening in 2012, and a second restaurant opening in 2016.
Big Rig Brewery opened a separate brewing facility in 2014 and has quickly grown to the largest brewery in the Nation’s Capital. Their award-winning beer can be found all around the Ottawa, throughout Ontario and in multiple Provinces.
