This Earth Day, April 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. the Good Beer Folks at Steam Whistle are inviting the public to join in on a neighbourhood park clean-up with a pizza and Pilsner filled reward.

“Steam Whistle’s ‘Steam Clean’ park clean-up is a great excuse to get outside, meet your neighbours and do something good for the environment,” explains Kendra Nicholson, the event organizer and member of the Brewery’s environmental committee.

Participants are asked to arrive at the Brewery for 4 p.m. where groups will be assigned to one of three designated park clean-up areas: Olympic Park, Reese Park and the pathway beside the Gardiner. Steam Whistle will be providing gloves and garbage bags. At 5 p.m. teams will be invited back to the Brewery for a well-earned complimentary pizza slice and delicious Pilsner.
