Blyth, Ontario – Cowbell Brewing Co. is proud to announce, thanks to the support of their Customers and Guests, that over $250,000 has been donated to community partners, through the Greener Pastures Community Fund.
From the very first pint sold in May 2016, Cowbell has been donating 5 cents per can and pint sold to their Greener Pastures Community Fund. The Greener Pastures Community Fund provides support for life-enhancing programs to improve children’s health and well-being at Ontario’s four children’s hospitals, and support for programming at the Canadian Centre for Rural Creativity (CCRC) in Blyth.
“The Greener Pastures Community Fund started with a nickel and a clear commitment to community,” says Grant Sparling, Chief Development Officer at Cowbell Brewing. “Together, we have raised a quarter of a million dollars for children’s health care and the CCRC.”

Cowbell is grateful for what The Fund has accomplished so quickly, and is pleased to partner with Ontario’s children’s hospitals on the following projects in 2019:
- McMaster Children’s Hospital, Hamilton – contributing to the renovation of the hematology/oncology unit
- Children’s Health Foundation at London Health Sciences Centre – contributing to the Music Therapy program
- Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) – contributing to the Child Life Program through Art Therapy and Pet Therapy programs
- SickKids, Toronto – supporting the$1.3 billion dollar SickKids VS. Campaign
Grant Sparling adds, “None of this would have been possible without our supporters, craft beer enthusiasts, and bars across the province. Let’s continue to do the right thing, together.”
