Blyth, Ontario – As Cowbell Brewing Co. prepares to celebrate their Second Anniversary at the Cowbell Farm this Civic Holiday long weekend, they are pleased to announce the release of ALMANAC 2019 Imperial Stout, the second beer in their Anniversary Series.
Brewed at the Cowbell Farm on their First Anniversary, August 5, 2018, this luscious 11.3% Imperial Stout aged beautifully for twelve months until its release on Cowbell’s Second Anniversary as ALMANAC 2019 IMPERIAL STOUT.
Almanac 2019 Imperial Stout was brewed with eight specialty malts in four partial batches over two days to ensure they collected only the richest and most flavourful wort for fermentation. Twelve months later, the resulting beer shows off rich, full-bodied chocolate and espresso sensations. Notes of vanilla and brandy are aromatic and lean back into fudge and roasted coffee beans. It is bottle conditioned with delicate carbonation, creating a creamy and lush body, with a silky chocolate finish.
This exclusive beer rested in its own dedicated specialty black fermenter and matured while over 150,000 Guests passed through the doors to visit the Cowbell Farm – in the presence of the aging beer.
“Almanac 2019 Imperial Stout is a celebration of every special occasion and milestone we have reached as a brewery since our first year’s celebration in August of 2018,” says Brewmaster, Stephen Rich. “Almanac ages as we do, through every peak and valley of the year, creating a truly genuine Anniversary Beer experience. It is delicious now and was specifically designed and bottle conditioned to mature and evolve over the next 10 years.”
