Toronto, Ontario – Kensington Brewing Co. have announced they will open their doors to their new brewery within the first few weeks of June.
Here is what you can expect to see at the brewery – 8 taps, a cask engine and small snacks provided by community vendors (no kitchen). The brewery will seat 40 inside and there is a application for small patio pending. KBC will start out with a 15hl brewhouse, 4x45hl FV, 1x15hl FV and 1x45hl BBT.
Michael Gurr Vice President of Operations at KBC told us the plan is to get heavily into working with both food and beer. They’ll be leveraging the space for beer and food education seminars, cooking classes, butchery demos etc as well as the odd sit down beer dinner. Their beer will be developed using “food friendly” concepts. They’re also working with St.Stephen’s House to support their breakfast program with the sale of their merchandise.
Keep an eye on their social media outlets for the official launch date.
