March Seasonals from Refined Fool Brewing and News on their Renovation

Sarnia, Ontario – Refined Fool Brewing is releasing two beers in the upcoming weeks.  Here’s what to watch for and two dates to remember.

Wheat Didn’t Start the Fire – March 20
Hefeweizen  (5% alc./vol.  10 IBU)
Pale/straw in color with high cloudiness. Classic Hefeweizen style, with strong banana and clove balanced by bready/sweet characteristics, and high carbonation. Immensely refreshing and easy drinking.

Democratically Challenged (Barleywine) – April 1
Barleywine (11.5% alc./vol.  75 IBU)
A well-hopped American interpretation of the richest and strongest of the English ales. Deep copper in color, with strong, intense caramel and toffee malt flavor, noticeable bitterness and strong west coast pine/citrus hop aromas.

rf_logoThis month is also a busy one for the crew at Refined Fool as their pub area will be closed for renovations, which means no pints for the next few months as they expand their new sitting area. BUT, their brand new retail area is now open at the back of the hallway! So you can still keep stocked up with bottles and growlers!

Watch for renovation updates on their Facebook page.
