Toronto, Ontario – Muddy York Brewing Co. has just released their second beer to the LCBO and Grocery stores. Switchboard Session IPA, a 4.9% hazy, juicy, and tropical session ale will be hitting shelves at select LCBO stores immediately. Grocery stores will begin selling it in the coming weeks.
Sold in 355mL short-cans, Switchboard has been a very popular offering at the craft brewery’s taproom, retail and online shop. “It was a no brainer for us,” says sales manager David Wallace “Switchboard is such a well-made beer and has sold so consistently for us since we introduced it last spring. It was the logical choice as our next release.”
Joining Gaslight Helles Lager on LCBO and select grocery shelves, Switchboard Session IPA and its eye-catching design will be featured this summer in the LCBO’s Food & Drink Magazine. Designer and co-owner Susan Michalek was inspired by Canada’s telephone operators in the mid-20th Century.
“Switchboard has a wonderful balance of peach, mango, pineapple and melon notes,” says brewer and co-owner Jeff Manol. “The hop character is very well balanced and clearly defined, but it has very little bitterness. It’s the perfect beer when people are looking for something with a lot of refreshing flavours and a lower ABV.”
