Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario – With the demand of craft beer growing in the Soo OutSpoken Brewing have announced that they are in the process of adding three new 10 bbl fermenters and a canning line at their brewery located at 350 Queen St E.
Up to this point the brewery has only sold beer in kegs, howlers and growlers but have recently purchased a Semi Automated Canning System which will allow them to fill 15 cans per minute or 37 cases per hour, this will also help them keep up with the new fermenters.
Graham Atkinson told What’s Brewin’ “canning will start in April and we will focus canning our core beers at the beginning, you can expect to see Anvil Red Ale, Split Shot Ale and Deadfall Lagered Ale to be the first beers to appear in 473ml cans at the brewery”.
Atkinson added “the brewery will be opening a tasting room and adding a full sized patio where food will be served”. The brewery will be getting somewhat of a makeover to make room for the patio.
The patio’s anticipated launch date is set for the long weekend in May.
