Sweet Spot returns to Left Field Brewery

Toronto, Ontario – Sweet Spot formerly known as Sweet Jesus has returned to Left Field Brewery. The recipe remains unchanged, as does the ritual of serving the beer topped with a freshly toasted marshmallow.

Sweet Spot is decadent dessert stout brewed using lactose, marshmallows and a hint of vanilla. To impart its signature mocha aromas and flavours, they add over 24 kilograms of fresh roasted and crushed cocoa nibs and nearly 7 kilograms of whole coffee beans into the fermenter during conditioning.

Their goal with this Mocha Marshmallow Stout was to take outrageous, unconventional and nostalgic flavours and layer them into a beer that’s nuanced, balanced and satisfying.
